For all of those who are still somewhat new to WordPress, there are some great WordPress themes on the market that may truly turn a dull unproductive site into something that can make you proud. The best WordPress plugins and themes out on the market, now come laden with features and tools not found in your common everyday WordPress set-up. Themes like OptimizePress are good examples of this kind of approach.

Yet to guarantee you've got the right WordPress configuration to support a theme like this, it is important to ensure the right WordPress install.

There are 2 ways to install WordPress. The 1st is through the tools offered by the host provider and the second way is thru a manual installation. Once the installation is complete, it is very easy to follow the same approach to installing a theme.

To install the WordPress platform find the WordPress installation software found in the host's cPanel software called Fantastico. Step thru the simple questions to get ready for installation. Once the questions are answered, one click of a button immediately unzips the code, creates a database, installs the code and links the database with the WordPress installation.

The harder way to try this is through a full manual installation. It needs downloading the WordPress files, unzipping them, FTPing them over to the host and creating a database for the new installation.

This method does lend itself to configuration errors and can be a bit time consuming if you don't know precisely what you are doing. I suggest utilizing the automated route if you have never done this before.

Once the installation has taken place, then it is simply a matter of going into the WordPress control panel and uploading the zipped file from your local drive into WordPress. WordPress will empty the files for you immediately and prepare the theme to be used.

Inside only a few minutes the installation will complete. All it takes is the user turning on the WordPress theme with one click to start to use it.

There'll be instances when the automated process doesn't work. In times like these, all that you need to do is unzip the files yourself with a type of unzip application, FTP the theme folder into your wp-content/themes folder. Once the theme is there
